On Christmas eve, Santa and friends are coming to the streets of South Woodside! Listen for the jingle bells and a hearty HO, HO, HO! The route starts at 5 pm. Merry Christmas from the South Woodside Community Centre Association.

Help families in your community by donating non-perishable food items to the Christmas Food Drive. Help us fill a trailer on Sunday Dec 14 at 1488 Main Road, in Eastern Passage, from 12 noon to 4 pm. Sponsored by the Torn Souls Motorcycle Riding Club and Halifax Building Solutions. If you can’t make this event but would like to donate food or funds, contact Vivian Hubley at 902-441-5104. Join South Woodside Community members for a fun morning of Halloween events — pumpkin carving (1 per family), bouncy castles, and colouring activities. Dress up for the Halloween costume contest! Featuring a BBQ and Halloween treats for the kids — join the trunk and treat in the school parking lot. NOTE time change — 10 am to 1 pm.

Join neighbourhood families for a fun-filled day of an outdoor Easter Egg hunt and a colouring contest. Face-painters will be on site and a barbeque lunch is offered. Rumour has it the Easter Bunny himself may make an appearance! The fun starts at 10:00 am at the South Woodside Community Centre.

Come dance the evening away at our Community Centre Valentines Day Family Dance! Have a bite to eat from our canteen and groove to the music. Enjoy this special night with your loved ones at our community dance!
